Annual Meeting and Training

The Missouri Fire Chaplain Corps hosted it’s annual meeting and training in Jefferson City. The event was hosted by the Jefferson City Fire Department and utilized the training room of the Jefferson City Police Department. Topics covered in the training included:

  • Death Notifications

  • Chaplain Self-Care

  • Chief and Chaplain Relationships

  • Chaplain Code of Ethics

  • The State Chaplain Program

  • The Role of the Fire Chaplain

Plans are being made for our Winter Training held in conjunction with Winter Fire School. The training will be held February 4-5 at Campus Lutheran Church, Columbia, Missouri. Watch the website for more information.
